Snowy Sun Valley Engagement

If you’ve ever made your way to Sun Valley, Idaho then you know how special of a place it is. Tucked right near the stunning Sawtooth and White-cloud mountains lays a quaint ski town with so much history and charm. Fun fact: Sun Valley had the countries first ski lift! The town features two ski resorts, a number of local eats and a few famous dive bars. Even if you’re not interested in a photo session, I’d totally recommend doing a staycation there. Bonus points if you can find an airbnb or hotel with a hot tub!

Alex, Sara and I ventured from Boise to Sun Valley to explore a few different locations. A favorite of ours ended up being the aspen trees nestled alongside highway 75. Hand-warmers and down jackets in tote, we ventured off the snowpack to capture some stunning images for their engagement. After a few hours we stopped for hot chocolates and ended the day with a burrito at KB’s before making the drive back to Boise. I cannot wait to celebrate these two come September.
